Iron Shot Cafe: Campaigns 2017

I thought I'd try a new tactic with the new year. Two really.

The first is rewards for writing reviews.

Phase one I've started and is for all my coworkers who I know have tried/sampled most of my treats to date. If I can get 75% of them to write a review I will bake what they desire and bring it in for them to enjoy.

Phase two is to offer this to all my customers. I'm thinking a 20% coupon, good for my online store and/or the market booth.

The second campaign shall be "Refer a Friend". This is requiring a bit of research as to how I track the referrals. There are programs out there, all for a price, but just how effective are they? I could record it the old fashioned way [in excel].

Food for thought.

The list is made! I took some time last night to create a list of all my seeds. Then this morning I found a letter in my mailbox with more seeds!

In addition: Kitchen Sage + Acorn Squash

So I need to start a new list (clearly I have too many for this form) and figure out where everything is going!

It was exhausting work but I got the south bed cleaned out of all the plastic the previous owners put in and my lavender seeded. That damn random tree is trying to regrow next to my foundation so I dug the dirt back exposing the trunk. It's freakin' huge! Like a coffee mug! I need to find a way to remove it.

I transplanted some bulbs I found around the tree trunk to the west end of the bed. & finally I got some of that nasty poison ivy off my east side foundation. It's all up and under my deck but that's getting bleach (I think).

Cleaned up the south bed. Almost ready for lavender & possibly corn.

The scarf is all done! That fine [thick] fleece and that nice soft, wool, flannel is the perfect combo. It's so warm I didn't want to take it off. O.o The buttons are from a 100 year old maple tree that had to come down for a road the city was building on our land so I made use of it! It had LOTS of branches! Everything is hand stitched! A true work of art .... if I say so myself!

Even though it's coming to the end of the season I'm still taking orders on these. $45 plus shipping just send me an email with your paypal email address. Or if you'd rather I can make an etsy listing just for you!

Hope everyone had a lovely St. Patrick's day!
